HAND WASHING

For most of our abayas, we recommend hand washing in cold water with a mild detergent.
Gently agitate the water and allow your abaya to soak for a few minutes.
Gently rub any stained areas with a soft cloth or a gentle brush.
Rinse thoroughly until all detergent is removed.
Gently press out excess water by rolling your abaya in a clean towel.
Lay it flat to air dry, away from direct sunlight.

EMBELLISHED

For abayas adorned with delicate beads, sequins, or intricate embroidery, we recommend gently placing the garment inside a protective clothing bag before washing. This helps prevent snagging and safeguards the embellishments during the wash.

If your abaya features heavier or more intricate detailing, spot cleaning is the most suitable option to maintain its beauty. For deeper care, professional dry-cleaning is recommended to ensure every embellishment remains intact and flawless.

IRONING

Use a low-heat setting on your iron, or, for delicate fabrics, place a clean cloth between the iron and the abaya to prevent direct contact.

Iron on the reverse side of the fabric to avoid damaging any embellishments or intricate embroidery.

STORAGE

Store your abayas in a cool, dry place.
Hanging your abayas on padded hangers can help maintain their shape and prevent wrinkles.
To further protect them, consider keeping them in clothing bags to prevent dust and exposure to light.

MAINTENANCE

Regularly inspect your abayas for loose threads, missing buttons, or loose embellishments.
Address any issues promptly to prevent further damage.
Avoid exposing your abayas to harsh chemicals, perfumes, or deodorants that can stain or
damage the fabric.
